Who doesn’t love a nude look! Browns, tans, beige – it all works toward the overall “nude” vibe which is so current. I always pair with a nude lippy and some nice bronzer on the cheeks to create an effortlessly chic feel. The great thing about going nude is you can wear it for any season and it works.
As you know I love a theme. I feel like every time I’m blonde I must match my outfit to my hair, I know you Lux Lovers do chic things like this too! I see you on my list of followers and I absolutely love when I see the creative individuals who read these stories. I do love adding a flare of colour to any muted style and in this case I went with a fuchsia nail.
Not every item needs to be a designer piece. Try adding one designer item, like a high-end designer handbag – in this case I added a brown YSL Envelope in medium quilted suede. I love a shoulder bag when I’m out and about in London between meetings or appointments. Add it with some high street heels, this time I’ve gone for a clear Ego pump. An everyday long-sleeved dress from PLT and I added a suede jacket, to compliment the suede in the bag, from the American bohemian brand Free People.
The amazing thing about YSL is they have nude vibe covered from tans to creams. Also, if suede scars you (as honestly it scared me too! You must be extra careful in rainy London) there are multiple options available. Embossed leather being the safest for anyone who (like me) gets water, wine, makeup, or God knows what on their bags! I am constantly marking every bag I have and its infuriating, so I feel your pain.
The prices seem to be creeping up but as always buying in the country they are originally from always seems to save a few quid. In this case I always save a little buying in France when the pound is strong. It depends on where you are coming from. Always look around. The great thing about YSL is there are so many colours to choose from.
