Cinema Suite at the Taj London

As soon as we arrived at the Taj hotel London, we were blown away by the level of luxury on offer. As we pulled in we were greeted by the friendly doorman who took our bags and showed us to the elevator. We were whisked up to the top floor where we were greeted by a butler who showed us around the stunning cinema suite. The glamour of the red carpet and the thrill of Hollywood and Indian Cinema.
Created by acclaimed Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. A journey through world cinema and an ode to tradition, this 1,884 square foot two bedroom suite with a dining room, study, powder room and kitchen, is designed in tribute to the history of film and takes inspiration from motion pictures across the globe. Aptly, the Cinema Suite opened just ahead of celebrations marking 100 years of Indian cinema in 1913.

The Cinema Suite is an urban cocoon featuring cutting-edge technology blending perfectly with glamorous design. The 85-inch plasma cinema screen, with a 3D state of the art home theatre system, is the biggest private screen in a London hotel suite. The world-class Steinway Lyngdorf sound system makes for a fully immersive cinematic experience which raises the bar for an in-hotel audio-visual offering. Preloaded with a repertoire of over 300 international motion pictures, books, and music, it acknowledges that time is well spent amongst films, art, and culture.

The whole experience was incredible, and we felt like royalty. The Taj hotel London really knows how to treat their guests. After checking in we had friends over for champagne before popping downstairs to Quilon, the restaurant of the Taj with south Indian cuisine, which was absolutely delicious. The dishes were full of flavour and the service was second to none.

The next day we tried out the spa, which was such a relaxing experience. It offered many things including a sauna, underground pool, jacuzzi and a range of treatments. We both had full body massages which were so rejuvenating.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and absolutely loved our stay at the Taj hotel London. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury experience. Thank you for having us! Taj 51 Buckingham Gate
