I think it’s fair to say that two dogs are better than one!

But are they more work? Honestly…no. You walk them both at the same time, feed them both at the same time and Churchy is already trained so it’s just the small training for Cambridge. (Although Churchy does help with that).

More cuddles are always a pro in my book. And they do keep each other entertained (after the 2-week grumpy mood Churchy threw). They also have different energy levels so when one needs a chill out the other can carry on playing. They are also great for security; they announce my Net-A-Porter even before the delivery driver has stepped out of the van!

So, what are the pros and cons of having two dogs?

Churchill William Green is a Cavachon, so quite a needy breed to begin with. He is uber smart and has the most beautiful temperament. I decided to get him a little Cavapoo brother. Introducing Cambridge Hill Green. I of course love Churchy, but my heart is so big that I needed the little brother for him. Cambridge (or Bridgey) is just as needy but incredibly crazy. The amazing thing about him is he is part poodle, which has become quite evident in the fact that he is already toilet trained and comes when you call his name. At only 14 weeks!

While some people might think that getting a second dog is simply doubling the amount of work, others believe that two dogs can actually be easier to care for than one. The truth is, it really depends on each individual case and what works best for you.

Is One Dog The Same As Two?

So I did it! I got a second dog. As you Lux Lovers know my old boy Churchill is 6 in December (where did the time go)! I have been thinking about a second dog for almost 5 years now. I think it’s so nice for them to have friends, especially if you are like me and live a busy Lux life!
