Let’s talk about Valentine’s Day. I don’t think we need a day to remember to love our husbands but being a romantic I love it! Every year I
plan something special for my husband. Be it a romantic dinner or a getaway to soho farmhouse, it’s always the perfect way to show him how much I love and appreciate
him. He usually reciprocates (usually haha) by giving me something thoughtful in return, which is so special
but not expected on my part, we are very different creatures and gift giving/thoughtfulness is not in his gift.
You cannot hate on someone or get down because
they are different than you, you also cannot let it dim your shine. Just be you and be happy with the good qualities in your other half!
For couples who are more traditional,
there’s always the classic exchange of cards and flowers. And don’t forget about chocolate- that’s an important part too apparently! No matter what your traditions are for
valentine’s day, it can be an opportunity to remind ourselves why we fell in love with our partners in the first place.
Have fun celebrating this special holiday with your significant other! Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be all
about romantic love, either. It’s a great time to show appreciation for family and friends too! I always text my Grandma to let her know how much I love and ap
preciate her. It’s a great way to remind people that you care about them, not just on Valentine’s Day but all year round.
Please remember, Valentine’s Day is also an opportunity to celebrate yourself! So, if you aren’t loved up you can still do you! Whether you want to treat yourself to your favourite chocolate or take some time for self-care, it’s important to remember that you are
worthy of love too! So, make sure you don’t forget about spending some quality time with yourself this Valentine’s Day.
At the end of the day, Valentine’s Day is really about spreading love and happiness.
And while it may be nice to receive something special from someone on V-Day, remember that the best gift you
can give is simply yourself; so, take some time to appreciate your relationships with those closest to you and enjoy every moment!
