TRS Ibiza
Ibiza is our jam, you all know that. We go at least twice, if not three times, every summer. We have always stayed in either Sant Eularia or Sant Josep. However, this year we decided to switch it up, try something different (always scary) and it was better than expected! TRS Ibiza Hotel (or The Royal Suites) was proof that all areas of Ibiza are glamming up. It was the ultimate CSG Lux experience and I highly recommend you check it out next season!
The Hotel
Wow wow wow. It is so chic, I was honestly blown away by the remodel. A 5-star hotel all the way. The colour scheme and its earthy tones relaxes you instantly. The neutral white, beige and tan mix is so aesthetically pleasing on the eye that you just want to lay down and chill. And as VIP Signature level guests we had our pick of places to do this.
As you walk out from the main reception you enter the large pool area, again it’s all in the same muted tones which set the scene for relaxation, but if you follow the path down to the right you enter two more pool and sunning areas. One for VIPs only. The rooftop also houses an exquisite infinity pool for VIP Signature guests and the great thing about the stay is its All-inclusive. Something we have never tried before but I am so glad we did. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Obviously, we are not drinking right now so I had sparkling water everywhere we went but the food was next level.
The Room
As well as its all-inclusive luxury rooms and suites TRS offers another level of luxury within the all-inclusive package: Signature Level. With this innovative programme, guests can enjoy a selection of additional benefits that go beyond the hotel’s own space and facilities, offering, among others, access to exceptional restaurants and well-known venues on the island through Dine Out, which allows guests to eat at 18 partner restaurants across Ibiza. The room was gigantic. We also had two balconies. One with sun loungers and one with a spot to take coffee and sit at a table overlooking the ocean. All the Signature Level suites offer different incredible options, from swim-up pools to rooftop terraces, and all, of course, come with butler service, private check-in and a host of other exclusive benefits.

The Food
There are many places to eat at TRS Ibiza. From the bright, spacious Aurum Lobby bar where you can start your day with a coffee or swing by for a cocktail or glass of wine. In the evening, catch an event or some live music. The luxurious cocktail bar connected to El Gaucho. Sit up at the bar or in the inviting lounge area while you savour your favourite drink. The dine at El Gaucho on the finest cuts of grilled meat in an elegant setting accented with marble furnishings: Picanha, ribeye, and more, as well as unique vegetarian dishes. Or if you want something more relaxed then Capricho offers a wide range of excellent global dishes in a stylish setting with outdoor seating. Order à la carte or help yourself to tasting dishes at our market-style stations. My favourite was the Mediterranean fusion gourmet À la carte, Helios. A fresh, contemporary cuisine in an Ibizan-style space with murals by Catalan artist Sergio Mora and a terrace overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean.
There are multiple pool bars. Cocktail bar next to the ÍO Pool serving all your favourite drinks as well as bites such as gourmet hot dogs and burgers during the day. The Gaia Pool Bar – Upbeat Mediterranean-style bar next to the hotel’s main pool, crafting everything from strawberry mojitos to pisco sours and espresso martinis. My favourite was the Gravity Bar, a lively rooftop bar mixing signature cocktails. Start your day with coffee or enjoy a drink as the sun sets spectacularly over the infinity pool and endless sea.
